
Loveland Ski Area, high up on the Continental Divide, is one of Colorado's top ski and snowboard spots. The resort horseshoes through the Eisenhower Tunnel on East Side of Divide, giving skiers and riders an extensive range of terrain.
The Ridge
Loveland's expert, advanced and proficient skiing and snowboarding are accessible high up on Mount Loveland by Chair 9. This is where you'll find "The Ridge," a huge selection of wide open alpine bowls with plenty of steeps, bumps and gentle slopes.
You will also find many steep, challenging gullies throughout the Ridge. This terrain can be traversed, depending on the conditions. A snowcat is also an option.
Basin
This is where you will find the majority of Loveland's snowboard and ski terrain. This area has 85% of the 1,800 skiable areas and 6 of 8 lifts.
This is the larger area that makes up Loveland. It is home to all of Loveland's ski schools, bars and restaurants as well the rental shops and sports shops.

The Rathskeller is located in this area, making it the best apres-ski spot on the mountain. It is located just off the Loveland Deli, and it's the ideal place to grab a hot chocolatea or a beer after an exhausting day on the mountain.
A ski school is also available for those who are just starting out in the sport. The Loveland Valley region is separated from Basin. This is a great area for beginners to learn how to ski and snowboard.
